Consider this:
You’re trapped in a small part of the world in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. You start with 20 bucks in cash, and access to a firearm. You start with what you managed to salvage from your former life. Now you need anything you can get more than ever. Now, you need to do anything you can to survive, and in a world without government, what’s to stop you?
Alphabet Gaming Wasteland is different from every other server.
We encourage roleplay, and this makes people adapt any role they choose. We don’t have rules. Structure is boring and antiquated, and we want to do away with it. We want to players to do anything they feel they should.
Large companies can be established with lots of purchased equipment or crew and gather lots of items to sell to city members. People in the city that bought these items in bulk such as shop owners can then use these resources to manufacture goods or simply sell to other survivors. Prices from the companies outside of the city or within the city will vary as these are not set prices. This entire system is an actual economy. Multiple restaurant owners will compete with one another for selling the best food at cheaper prices. People that built gas stations may buy fuel from people with oil setups outside of the city and store it in tanks, then allow people to borrow gas cans for a moment to fuel their vehicles and charge them by the can, or even sell gas cans. This same system goes for weapons, ammunition, tools, attachments, vehicles, and pretty much everything in the game.
You can become a warlord of a city or town who imposes and enforces rules on all of its inhabitants.
You can be a crooked cop who takes bribes and harasses people you don’t like.
You could buy goods from farmers and resell them to shops
You can be an arms dealer
You can start a legitimate business and grow it into an empire. The possibilities are literally endless, because we don’t force linear rules.
